Summary: The Interim FP&A Consultant role focuses on preparing a high-growth multisite business for an upcoming exit, supporting the Finance Director and CFO in creating an investor-ready financial picture. The position requires hands-on involvement in strategic planning, financial modeling, and managing the transaction process. The consultant will lead efforts in data preparation and due diligence, collaborating with external advisors throughout the process. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in Transaction Services, preferably from a Big 4 firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Building and refining robust, investor-grade financial models
  • Preparing data packs and financial analysis for potential buyers and advisors
  • Leading data cleansing efforts to ensure consistency and accuracy across systems and reports
  • Supporting data room preparation, including collation, structuring, and ongoing management of core documentation
  • Supporting the financial due diligence process, including responding to queries and preparing key analyses
  • Collaborating with external advisors (e.g., corporate finance, legal, diligence providers)
  • Supporting scenario planning, valuation analysis, and deal structuring discussions

Key Skills:

Interim FP&A Consultant (Exit-Support) London (Hybrid) Up to £500 per day outside IR35 6 month contract RB021 We are supporting a high growth multisite business preparing for an upcoming exit, backed by a well-known mid-market PE fund. With turnover of around £60 million, the business is now looking for an experienced FP&A Consultant with a background in Transaction Services—ideally from a Big 4 firm—to support the Finance Director and CFO in building a clear, investor-ready financial picture.

The Role This is a high-impact, hands-on role focused on getting the business exit-ready. You’ll support strategic planning and analysis, while leading on the financial workstreams of the transaction process—including preparing the business for external diligence.
