Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage and develop an engineering and fleet team
  • Ensure full compliance with UK transport legislation and maintenance regulations
  • Oversee fleet performance, availability and utilisation
  • Manage budgets, supplier relationships and third-party contracts
  • Drive continuous improvement across maintenance systems and procedures
  • Lead audits, compliance reviews and regulatory inspections

Cast UK are supporting a well-established logistics operation in their search for an experienced Fleet Manager.

The Role

This is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing a large, nationally operating fleet within a 24/7 environment. The successful candidate will take full accountability for fleet compliance, engineering standards, operational performance and cost control across multiple locations.

You will lead and develop a team of engineering and fleet professionals, ensuring all legal, safety and regulatory standards are met, while driving continuous improvement across maintenance processes and vehicle utilisation.
