Summary: The Interim FP&A Manager will be responsible for leading financial planning and analysis within a leading retail company for a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role involves overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting while providing insights to senior finance leaders. The ideal candidate should be a qualified accountant with experience in FP&A and the retail sector, available to start immediately.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead planning and forecasting cycles for the finance function, driving the annual budget.
- Oversee the creation of monthly financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow) ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Provide insights to senior finance leaders on financial reports, 5-year plan, annual budget, and ongoing forecasts.
- Support finance improvement projects to enhance financial processes.
- Conduct financial analysis, identifying and analyzing key business performance drivers, and highlighting financial risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate with other teams across finance and the wider business to support business partners.
Key Skills:
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CAANZ) or equivalent.
- Experience within a busy FP&A department.
- Background in the retail industry.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to provide financial insights.
- Immediate availability for the role.
