Summary: The Interim Financial Controller will provide essential financial leadership to a PE-backed services business during a transitional period, reporting directly to the Finance Director. This role involves overseeing a finance team, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and improving monthly reporting processes. The position is initially for six months, with the potential for a permanent role in the future.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coach a small finance team through the period of change;
• Review large volumes of data in order to apply correct revenue recognition;
• Review monthly reporting processes and suggest/implement improvements;
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in line with regulatory requirements.

Key Skills:

• CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified with experience in an SME business covering a well-rounded finance role;
• Experience in a complex revenue recognition environment is highly desirable;
• Prior team management experience is highly desirable;
• Strong communication skills to partner with a range of stakeholders across the business.
