  • Delivery-focused with a pragmatic approach.

Salary (Rate): £110,000 yearly

Elevation Leadership & Executive are supporting a Financial Services business in South Yorkshire with the appointment of an Interim Financial Controller.This is a hands-on leadership role within a busy and evolving finance function. The successful individual will take ownership of core Financial Control and reporting while also playing a key role in a number of fast-moving finance operations and change initiatives.This is not purely a BAU Financial Controller role. The business is looking for someone who can maintain strong financial control, have hands-on involvement in projects and process improvement work, and provide strong leadership to a growing team.You will join a well-structured team working closely with colleagues across the wider finance function and business with a remit spanning delivery, improvement and team leadership.

Candidate profile

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
  • Proven Financial Controller or senior Financial Control experience
  • Strong technical reporting and balance sheet controls background
  • Financial Services experience is essential
  • Track record of supporting process improvement or finance change activity
  • Delivery-focused with a pragmatic, sleeves-rolled-up approach
