Summary: The role of Interim Financial Accountant at a rapidly growing SaaS/Fintech Scale-Up involves managing the month-end close process and supporting financial reporting during a critical year-end period. The position is initially a 3-4 month contract with potential for temp-to-perm, requiring an experienced finance professional who can quickly adapt and contribute to the team. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving, with a focus on maintaining a collaborative work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Month-end close process.
• Support on financial reporting and ad hoc analysis.
• Support the day-to-day financial operations, working with the wider finance team.
• Work with auditors and answer queries.
• Manage their Junior Accountant.
• Maintain financial journals and reconciliations.
• Ad hoc project based work for the Financial Controller.

Key Skills:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or Finalist.
• 1-3 years' experience out of audit preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Incredibly ambitious with a desire to continue learning.
• Ability to be adaptable and take on a wide range of responsibilities.
• Problem solver with an analytical mindset.
• Available Immediately or on short notice (1 week max).
