Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review financial statements in line with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end reporting processes.
  • Analyse financial data to provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Manage reconciliations, including bank accounts and balance sheets.
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting processes as required.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits.
  • Assist in the implementation of process improvements within the finance department.

Key Skills:

  • A recognised accounting qualification or equivalent experience in Accounting & Finance.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting and compliance requirements.
  • Experience in the housing sector is advantageous but not essential.
  • The ability to work effectively in a temporary position in Manchester.
  • 3-6 months initial contract.
