Summary: A high growth, PE-backed FMCG business is seeking an ambitious Financial Accountant, ideal for someone transitioning from practice. This role offers group-level experience in a fast-paced commercial environment, focusing on industry reporting. The position involves collaboration with a supportive finance team, contributing to month-end close and statutory accounts preparation. It provides valuable exposure beyond compliance through audit support and financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with preparation of statutory accounts under UK GAAP / IFRS
- Support monthly group reporting and consolidations
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries
- Assist with external audit deliverables and internal process reviews
- Ad hoc analysis, reporting, and support across group finance
Key Skills:
- ACA/CA qualified (recently qualified, Big 4 or Top 10)
- Experience auditing large or group clients
- Strong Excel and analytical skills
- Eager to learn, adapt and take ownership
- Available immediately or on a short notice period
