Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise Accounts Payable activities and maintain financial controls.

What you'll do:
- As an Interim Financial Accountant based in London, you will be at the heart of the finance function during a critical phase of change.
- Lead the month-end close process, ensuring all deadlines are met with precision while supporting wider business transformation initiatives.
- Prepare comprehensive commentary on profit and loss reviews each month, focusing on specific cost categories to provide valuable insights.
- Oversee the monthly balance sheet reconciliation process by assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and preparing reconciliations for payroll, fixed assets, accruals, and prepayments.
- Manage the Fixed Asset Register by handling additions, disposals, depreciation recalculations, and ensuring schedules reconcile accurately to the general ledger.
- Supervise Accounts Payable activities including supplier account reconciliations, purchase order creation, and receipting to maintain robust financial controls.
- Assist with bank account reconciliations covering accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll transactions to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Review existing financial processes regularly to enhance internal control systems, developing detailed process notes and documentation for compliance purposes.
- Work effectively across two parallel ERP systems-Oracle Cloud Fusion and Microsoft Business Central.
- Submit the monthly Debtor Scorecard with thorough analysis to the FP&A team to support informed decision-making.
- Participate actively in year-end audits by liaising with auditors and providing all necessary documentation promptly while responding to ad hoc requests from senior finance leaders.
What you bring:
