£300 - £367 per day
An established and purpose-driven organisation is seeking an experienced Interim Financial Accountant to support a critical year-end and audit project.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete detailed balance sheet reconciliations and investigate outstanding variances
- Prepare audit-ready lead schedules and supporting documentation
- Review and correct accruals, prepayments and year-end adjustments
- Maintain and reconcile the fixed asset register
- Support intercompany reconciliations and consolidation adjustments
- Prepare journals for review and approval
- Assist with auditor queries and requests during the audit process
- Ensure reconciliations and processes are documented for ongoing use
About You
- Qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
- Strong year-end accounting and audit preparation experience
- Proven track record delivering balance sheet reconciliations in a complex environment
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large data sets
- Able to work autonomously and deliver to challenging deadlines
- Experience with ERP systems
