Interim Financial Accountant

Summary: The role of Interim Financial Accountant involves a 6-month assignment with a multinational FMCG organization in South Derbyshire. The position requires supporting the finance team with various accounting tasks, including balance sheet reconciliations, statutory reporting, and cash flow forecasting. The ideal candidate will be a qualified or QBE accountant with relevant experience in VAT and strong Excel skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Finance Team with balance sheet reconciliations.
• Manage monthly ledger postings for smaller entities, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
• Conduct inter-company reconciliations and recharges.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Handle statutory reporting and compliance, including VAT returns.
• Assist with year-end work, including stat packs, tax packs, audit, and statutory accounts.
• Perform cash flow forecasting.

Key Skills:

• Qualified or QBE accountant.
• Proven experience in balance sheet reconciliation and VAT.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Knowledge of ACA, ACCA, IFRS, GAAP.
• Experience with year-end audit files and reconciliations.

Salary (Rate): £400 daily
