Summary: The Interim Financial Accountant role in Barnsley involves managing the P&L and balance sheet preparation for a market-leading client on a 6-month contract, with potential for extension. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepares statutory financial statements in accordance with UK accounting standards and regulations.
- Ensures accurate recording of financial transactions and maintains the general ledger.
- Conducts regular reconciliations and supports month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Liaises with external auditors and regulatory bodies during audits and financial reviews.
- Provides financial analysis and reporting to support strategic decision-making by management.
Key Skills:
- Fully qualified in ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge.
- Sound knowledge of IFRS.
