Harmonic are delighted to be working with a leading direct-to-consumer brand in the gifting and lifestyle sector, in the search for an interim financial accountant to join their team. The business and finance function are undergoing a period of change following the recent appointment of a fantastic finance director, with real autonomy and influence on offer during this 3 month contract. The role will sit Outside IR35 and offers hybrid working.

The Role: This is a short term contract role to support the team following the current financial accountant handing in a notice. As the Interim Financial Accountant, you will report directly to the FD and play an integral role in supporting the company’s financial operations. There will also be a requirement to support junior team members and bring stability and guidance during the search for a permanent replacement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead on the month end process
• Deliver accurate P+L statements
• Reconcile the balance sheet
• Take responsibility and oversight for work of junior finance assistants
• Ensure consistently smooth financial running and performance of the finance function
• Ad hoc tasks to support finance director

What we need to see (essential): Fully Qualified OR Qualified by Experience

What we need to see (bonus): E-Commerce / Retail / FMCG background

Day Rate : £260 - £350 per day (Outside IR35)

Location: Central London (2/3 days in the office)

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Length: 3 months
