Summary: Our client, a prominent player in the London insurance market, is seeking an experienced finance contractor for an 18-month role during a major project. The position involves hands-on financial processes, statutory reporting, and collaboration with senior finance personnel. Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain regular financial processes and produce monthly management account packs.
- Lead statutory reporting, including external audits.

The contract will be for 18 months and can be on a FTC basis or day rate contract. Day-to-day, you will maintain regular financial processes, produce the monthly management account pack, and lead statutory reporting including the external audit. You will also keep on top of emerging accounting standards under FRS and IFRS, manage relationships with reinsurance brokers and the Group, and support ad hoc projects as they arise. The ideal candidate will be ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with a strong insurance accounting background. You will be highly analytical, comfortable working at pace across multiple priorities, and confident presenting to and challenging stakeholders at all levels.
