Summary: The role of Interim Finance Manager involves overseeing all financial activities within a high-growth SME financial services business in Warrington. The position requires ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulatory standards, and the development of financial strategies to support company growth. The role is initially a 6-month contract with the potential for permanent placement. The candidate will report directly to the Finance Director and manage various financial processes and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, analyse and present financial statements in accordance with accounting standards and company policies
- Manage budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes
- Oversee accounting operations, including ledgers and company payroll
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, including tax filings and audit
- Implement and maintain internal controls
- Cash flow forecasting and monitoring
- Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances and opportunities for cost reduction
Key Skills:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant
- Experience operating at finance manager level
- Previous financial services experience (advantageous)
Salary (Rate): £500.00 Daily
