Key Responsibilities:
- Produce detailed monthly management accounts, budget reports, and forecast monitoring documents for designated schools.
- Lead or support month-end and year-end processes, including reconciliation of purchase orders and managing prepayments and accruals.
- Chair strategic monthly meetings with stakeholders to review budget performance and financial planning.
- Prepare and develop annual budgets and forecasts, providing financial insights for long-term strategy.
- Perform supplier evaluations and administrative checks to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
- Stay updated on developments in the education sector and assess their implications on financial strategies.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to a junior team member.
Key Skills:
- ACCA or CIMA qualified (or working towards qualification).
- Demonstrable experience in a similar finance role.
