Summary: The Interim Finance Manager will lead the finance function of a growing logistics business in the film and TV industry, transitioning it from compliance-focused operations to effective management reporting and forecasting. This hands-on role involves managing a small finance team and collaborating with C-Suite executives. The position is based on-site in Slough and requires an immediate start. The role offers a competitive day rate between £350 and £375.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own day-to-day finance operations across the group
- Manage and support two Assistant Accountants
- Ensure billing, payments, and month-end processes are accurate and timely
- Produce monthly management accounts, including consolidated group reporting
- Build and maintain a rolling 12-week cash flow forecast
- Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations
- Support margin improvement and business model changes
- Ensure statutory compliance and liaise with external accountants
Key Skills:
- Experience in a hands-on Finance Manager or similar role
- Strong management accounting background
- SME experience preferred
- Experience managing or supervising junior finance staff
- Exposure to group and intercompany accounting
- Part-qualified, qualified, or qualified by experience

Due to growth, they are seeking a hands-on Finance Manager to lead the day-to-day finance function and move it from a compliance-focused operation to timely management reporting and forecasting. The business operates a simple time-and-materials model, with a small group of companies that trade with each other. You will manage a small finance team and work alongside C-Suite as a Senior member of the FLT. This is an on-site role, five days per week (Slough), with an immediate start, offered on a day rate of £350–£375.
