Summary: The Interim Finance Manager role is focused on supporting the finance function of a PE-backed international SaaS business during a period of growth and operational development. This hands-on position involves financial control, month-end delivery, audit support, and ensuring balance sheet integrity across multiple entities. The role requires immediate availability and experience with NetSuite as the core ERP platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and support month-end close activities across multiple entities
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and ensure strong financial controls
- Manage general ledger integrity and oversee core accounting processes
- Support year-end audit activities and act as a key contact for external auditors
- Assist with statutory accounting and financial reporting requirements
- Ensure accurate posting of journals, accruals, prepayments, and intercompany transactions
- Support cashflow and working capital reporting where required
- Work closely with wider finance teams to improve processes and reporting accuracy
- Support ongoing finance transformation and process improvement initiatives
- Assist with NetSuite-related finance processes and system enhancements
- Operate within a PE-backed reporting environment with tight reporting deadlines
Key Skills:
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
- Proven experience operating within Finance Manager or Senior Financial Accountant roles
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and understanding of debits/credits
- Extensive balance sheet reconciliation and month-end close experience
- Experience managing or supporting external audits
- Previous experience within SaaS, technology, or PE-backed businesses is highly desirable
- NetSuite experience
- Available immediately or at short notice
