Summary: The Finance Manager role is a 6-month fixed-term contract position focused on managing a small finance team and overseeing transactional finance operations. The successful candidate will utilize Dynamics 365, lead accounts payable and receivable assistants, and engage in business partnering as needed. The role also involves driving process improvements and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Immediate availability is preferred for this position based in Mirfield.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a small finance team and oversee transactional finance members.
- Utilize Dynamics 365 for financial operations.
- Lead accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) assistants.
- Engage in business partnering with operational teams as needed.
- Drive process improvement initiatives and support implementation.
- Manage backlog and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Provide cover for other finance roles during periods of leave.

You will also manage backlog and ensure smooth day-to-day operations, provide cover for other finance roles as needed during periods of leave.
This role is based in Mirfield, with a salary paying up to £55,000, along with many other benefits. To progress with this role, you will be a team player and have experience using Dynamics 365.
