Summary: The Interim Finance Manager role is a 6-month fixed-term contract based in Milton Keynes, focusing on financial close processes and finance transformation for a well-established business. Key Responsibilities:
- Play a key role in the financial close processes (monthly, quarterly and annual) for UK businesses
- Lead key financial processes and controls
- Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are completed and financial risks and opportunities are managed
- Prepare and review journal entries, account analyses, and reports on a monthly/quarterly basis
- Drive continuous process improvements to ensure all information is timely and accurate
- Perform and review various monthly processes, analyses, and reporting
- Work with other teams and departments to ensure integrity of accounting controls, processes, and procedures
Key Skills:
- Qualified Accountant in a UK recognized accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Management reporting and month end close experience
- Good academics
- Knowledge of Netsuite/Hyperion
- Experience in a Regional Accounting team in an international/public company environment
- Highly motivated, self-directed, independent thinker with experience of improving processes
- Stores/Operations/Franchise experience preferred
- Proficient PC skills and experience with financial applications
- Ability to work in a challenging, fast-paced environment and to adapt to new situations

Responsibilities:
- Play a key role in the financial close processes (monthly, quarterly and annual) for UK businesses
- Finance Transformation Lead key financial processes and controls
- Ensuring balance sheet reconciliations are completed and financial risks and opportunities are managed
- Prepare and review journal entries, account analyses, and reports on a monthly/quarterly basis
- Drive continuous process improvements to ensure all information is timely and accurate, with a focus on improving timeliness and accuracy of financial information, as well as appropriateness of processes
- Perform and review various monthly processes, analyses, and reporting
- Work with other teams and departments to ensure integrity of accounting controls, processes, and procedures
Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant in a UK recognized accounting qualification ideally with management reporting and month end close experience (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Good academics
