  • Producing full monthly management accounts
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • P&L variance analysis with commentary
  • Daily cash flow management
  • Posting income and cost accruals
  • Prepayment journals
  • Petty cash reconciliation
  • Payroll processing for c.150 employees
  • Supporting investment appraisals and business case development
  • Liaising with external advisors and stakeholders

Key Skills:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
  • Experience in a similar finance role, ideally within a family office, SME, or investment environment
  • Strong analytical and commercial acumen
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable working onsite in a small, collaborative team
  • Proactive, hands-on approach with a high level of integrity and discretion

Your new role
As Finance Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial operations of the family office. Reporting directly to the principals, you'll be responsible for producing full management accounts, managing cash flow, and supporting strategic decision-making through insightful financial analysis. You'll also act as a business partner across the portfolio, helping to evaluate business cases and investment opportunities.
