Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare journal entries, accruals, and conduct detailed variance analysis for month-end close.
  • Perform comprehensive balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

Key Skills:

  • Experience using ERP systems such as Oracle or Microsoft Business Central.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager to join a bold and forward-thinking beauty business in London on an interim basis until April 2026, with the possibility of extension.

What You'll Do

  • As Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the financial operations of the European region, covering direct markets such as the UK as well as distributor markets across Europe and beyond.
  • You will focus on closing cycles—monthly, quarterly, and annually—while maintaining robust control processes that underpin reliable financial reporting.
  • In addition to leading audits for multiple countries, you will be instrumental in driving compliance with local tax regulations and statutory requirements.
  • Support the month-end close process by preparing journal entries, accruals, and conducting detailed variance analysis to ensure accurate financial results.
  • Perform comprehensive balance sheet reconciliations each month, proactively resolving discrepancies to maintain data integrity across all accounts.
  • Lead and support both external and internal audits by preparing audit schedules, gathering required documentation, and ensuring timely responses to auditor queries.
  • Ensure compliance with local tax regulations such as VAT and corporate tax, managing statutory filing requirements for multiple legal entities.

What You Bring
