Our client is a global business based in London and needs an Interim Finance Manager for 9-12 months. You will lead a team of management accountants and be responsible for delivering the management accounts, commentary and analysis to the group.
Responsibilities include:
- Report actual monthly accounting results, budgets and forecasts for the company to inform about latest performance.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of management accountants.
- Identify opportunities for process optimisation and implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial reporting procedures.
- Collaborate with both external and internal auditors during year end.
- Support and help deliver the company audit.
The ideal candidate will be/have:
- Strong team management experience.
- A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Demonstrable experience of managing and improving management accounting reports and processes, flash reports, and Excel reports.
- Superb communication skills and stakeholder management across a variety of different verticals within businesses.
- A preference for heavy asset management sectors such as logistics, transport, energy, and aviation.
