"Interim Financial Manager" A high growth, acquisitive PE backed business in London needs an Interim Financial Manager to help improve their group finance function. You will be responsible for:
- Establishing a New Expenses Process – Develop and implement a comprehensive expenses process that enhances transparency, accuracy, and efficiency across the organization
- Automating Month-End Flash Reports – Leverage your technical skills to automate the company's month-end flash reporting, ensuring timely and reliable financial information for key stakeholders
- Reconciling Pension Accounts – Meticulously reconcile the company's pension accounts, ensuring compliance and accurate financial reporting
- Providing Management Accounting Support – Offer expert management accounting support for the company's acquired entities, ensuring seamless integration and financial oversight
- Posting Manual Prepayment/Deferred Income Balances – Accurately post and manage the company's prepayment and deferred income balances, maintaining the integrity of the financial records
- Conducting Balance Sheet Reviews – Regularly review the company's balance sheet, identify areas for improvement, and recommend actionable strategies to enhance financial stability
The ideal candidate will have/be:
- Qualified accountant – ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
- Extensive experience in a similar finance manager or management accounting role, ideally within a high-growth, technology-driven organization
- High proficiency in Dynamics Business Central or Navision, with a deep understanding of financial processes and reporting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement efficient solutions
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, enabling you to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- A results-driven mindset and the flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of financial accuracy and compliance
This is a 4 month contract, likely to be outside IR35 (TBC) £400-450/day. Mainly remote but you will need be able to get to their London office.
