The Opportunity
This technology business are scaling up for a period of substantial growth & expansion which has triggered an evaluation by the Director of Finance to ensure its finance function is fit for purpose for the exciting journey ahead. The review has resulted in a newly created Interim Finance Manager to support the business and finance team throughout-out the rest of 2025.
The key components of the role will include:
- Reporting to the Head of Finance with a dotted line to the Director of Finance
- Supporting and mentoring a small team of transactional finance staff
- Assisting with management accounts
- Assisting with financial accounts
- Ensuring a robust month-end close
- Involvement in high profile process improvement projects
- Supporting commercial & operational finance initiatives
On Offer
The roles tenure will be for the remainder of 2025 and the employer is willing to consider applications for individuals purely seeking an interim assignment, or a potential temporary to permanent basis when the permanent requirement is finalised. The role is based in Edinburgh with excellent hybrid/flexible working, and the successful candidate is only required to be in the office 2 days per week. The position of Interim Finance Manager will offer an extremely competitive daily rate.

We are keen to engage with individuals that have strong Finance Manager experience, and available to start an interim assignment within the next 0-3 weeks. The preference is for a qualified Accountant, however qualified by experience will be considered also.
