Summary: The Interim Finance Manager role involves delivering high-quality financial management and strategic insight within a privately held enterprise in Doncaster. The position is fully office-based and offers a negotiable day rate, with the potential for a temporary to permanent transition for the right candidate. The successful applicant will oversee financial reporting, cash flow management, and internal controls while leading the finance team. Immediate employment is available with an ASAP start date.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and consolidate financial reports
- Manage the balance sheet and oversee cash flow and banking operations
- Support central functions through budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis
- Enhance internal controls and ensure compliance with audit and governance processes
- Drive continuous improvement in financial practices
- Provide effective leadership and development across the finance team
Key Skills:
- Extensive experience in accounting with a recognised professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA preferred; exceptional experience also considered)
- Strong technical accounting expertise
- Proven ability to liaise effectively with all levels of management and staff
- High level of IT proficiency - Sage
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Strong attention to detail
- Flexible and adaptable approach to changing situations
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

They are looking for an interim financial controller whilst recruiting on a permanent basis. This role could be temporary to permanent for the right candidate.

- Fully office-based 8am-5pm
