Summary: The Interim Finance Manager will lead a small local finance team while reporting to a regional Finance Director within a large Not For Profit organization. The role requires strong financial management skills, including budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance, while also providing strategic guidance. The ideal candidate should have relevant experience and be studying for or qualified in ACCA/CIMA. This position offers a hybrid working arrangement and the potential for permanent employment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing budgeting with key stakeholders.
- Maintaining internal financial controls and procedures.
- Financial Accounts up to trial balance.
- Producing monthly management accounts.
- Looking after a team of two Accounts Assistants.
- Ensuring accurate financial reporting.
- Providing strategic financial guidance and advice.
- Managing financial audits.
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Supporting the development and growth of the organisation.
Key Skills:
- Strong demonstrable experience in a similar role.
- ACCA or CIMA study or qualified by experience.
- Experience in financial reporting and budget management dealing with non-finance stakeholders.
- The ability to provide strategic financial guidance and advice.
- Be available to start over the next couple of weeks.
