Summary: The Interim Finance Director role at a leading manufacturing organization in Yeovil, Somerset, is essential for overseeing financial operations during a transitional period. The position requires a qualified finance professional to manage financial planning, reporting, and compliance while leading the finance team. The role is full-time, with a requirement of three days per week in the office, starting in June 2025. The contract duration is up to six months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all financial operations and direct corporate financial planning and structure.
- Coordinate, analyse, and report the financial performance to management and the board of directors.
- Prepare short and long-term financial forecasts of financial performance for use with internal management and external parties.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
- Manage the finance team and provide leadership and guidance.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve financial performance.
Key Skills:
- Qualified Finance Director (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or extensive experience in a similar role.
- Proven experience in financial management within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
