Summary: The Interim Finance Director will play a crucial role in guiding a Mid-Market Private Equity backed SaaS company through its Series D fundraising round. This position involves collaboration with the CFO and focuses on enhancing financial processes and controls. The ideal candidate will have experience in fundraising and a strong financial background, although SaaS experience is desirable but not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Series D fundraising.
- Professionalise and streamline existing financial controls.
- Identify the different product areas and those which are most profitable to base your strategic decisions from.
- Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Maintain financial controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Skills:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- PE experience.
- Experience leading a fundraise.

Interim Finance Director (9 months) Location: London (2 days per week) Rate: £700 (Outside IR35) CK1912 Finatal is currently partnered with Mid-Market Private Equity backed PE backed SaaS who is seeking an interim Finance Director to help lead them through their Series D fundraising round. Primarily, you will be working alongside the CFO to support the fundraise, as well as looking into process improvements across the finance function. While SaaS experience isn’t a requirement, it is desirable. Experience leading a fundraise is required.
