The company are currently undergoing a large transformation project, focusing on professionalisation of the finance function and the implementation of a new ERP system. Role Overview:This is a hands-on position that will suit someone who has a proven track record within the professional services sector. They must be confident to bring about change autonomously and be a confident self-starter who is looking to work alongside some very impressive operators.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement financial strategies to drive profitability and growth.Professionalise and streamline existing financial controls.Help to lead the implementation of a new ERP system.Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.Oversee cash flow management, ensuring adequate liquidity for operational needs and strategic investments.Maintain financial controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.Lead the year-end financial close process, including preparation of financial statements and liaising with auditors.Coordinate audit engagements, ensuring timely completion and resolution of audit queries.Review accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.Conduct financial due diligence for potential acquisitions, assessing financial risks and opportunities.Qualifications and Skills:Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)Proven experience in senior financial leadership role.Has exposure to a systems implementationExtensive knowledge of financial management principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.Demonstrated experience in financial due diligence, acquisitions, and lease negotiations.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic insights.Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving performance and achieving business objectives.Proactive and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
