Robertson Bell are partnering with a national charity as they recruit an Interim Director of Finance for a 6–9 month assignment. This role will provide strategic leadership to the finance function during a period of change, ensuring operational stability while driving improvements to systems, processes and financial planning. Reporting to the CEO and working closely with the leadership team and Board, the Interim Director of Finance will oversee year-end, budgeting and audit activity, while supporting wider transformation and digital initiatives. Key responsibilities will include: Leading and developing the finance team, building capability and improving ways of working. Overseeing financial planning and budgeting for the upcoming financial year. Ensuring year-end and audit processes run smoothly, maintaining strong relationships with external auditors. Providing strategic and commercial financial advice to senior stakeholders. Supporting transformation projects and contributing to long-term financial sustainability. The successful candidate will: Be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent). Have extensive senior finance leadership experience.
