Interim Finance Director, Consumer, ASAP start (day rate)

Altum Consulting are currently partnering with a fast-growing Consumer business to recruit an interim Finance Director. This is a crucial hire and will be immediately influential in supporting future decision making across the business. Reporting directly into the owners, this role is for an initial 3 months with the opportunity to extend.

Role:

• Evaluate data sets of historical and current financial performance.
• Present meaningful data to Senior Management advising on the performance of business.
• Manage future financial control/commercial activities of business.
• Understand and deliver on the goals and expectations of the Senior Management team.
• Assess outsourced finance function.
• Assessing stock valuation/stock provision.
• Assessing stock clearing accounts and reconciling stock deliveries to invoice.

You\'ll be/have:

• A Qualified Accountant with significant post qualified experience.
• Retail/Consumer sector experience (supply side retail, stock required)
• Comfortable presenting data and advising senior leadership.
• Experience working with outsourced accountancy firms.
• Available immediately/short notice period.
