Summary: The Interim Finance Director role is a three-month contract based in Liverpool, focusing on financial leadership within a prominent educational organization undergoing transformation. The position involves close collaboration with the CEO and senior leadership to establish financial strategies and oversee the finance team. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in the education sector at a Finance Director or CFO level. Immediate availability is required for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Key interactions with CEO, senior leadership team and Board of Governors
- Partner with CEO to agree definitive financial position and appropriate Financial KPI's within the organisation
- Review the existing structure of the Finance department and make recommendations accordingly
- Work closely with the CEO to make short-term plans around measuring and reporting on all financial matters
- Finalising a clear and accurate budget for 25/26
Key Skills:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant
- Previous experience at Finance Director/CFO level within the education sector
- Immediate availability or short notice to start

What you'll need to succeed
ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant with previous experience at Finance Director/CFO level within the education sector.
You'll be available to start immediately, or at short notice.
