Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare statutory accounts and management accounts.
  • Support the year-end audit process.
  • Prepare budgets and attend Board meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with SORP and prepare the Statement of Financial Activities (SOFA).
  • Manage financial aspects of a wholly owned trading subsidiary of the charity.
  • Address VAT, Gift Aid, and tax implications related to charity operations.

Key Skills:

  • Chartered Accountant qualification.
  • Strong experience in charity finance and statutory accounts preparation.
  • Knowledge of SORP and charity financial regulations.
  • Experience with budgeting and management accounts.
  • Ability to work effectively with Board members.

Salary (Rate): 450
