Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare statutory accounts and management accounts.
- Support the year-end audit process.
- Prepare budgets and attend Board meetings.
- Ensure compliance with SORP and prepare the Statement of Financial Activities (SOFA).
- Manage financial aspects of a wholly owned trading subsidiary of the charity.
- Address VAT, Gift Aid, and tax implications related to charity operations.
Key Skills:
- Chartered Accountant qualification.
- Strong experience in charity finance and statutory accounts preparation.
- Knowledge of SORP and charity financial regulations.
- Experience with budgeting and management accounts.
- Ability to work effectively with Board members.
