I’m supporting a listed, FCA-regulated financial services platform (c.£600m AUM) in appointing an Interim Finance Director.

The Role

You’ll report to the MD of the business unit with a dotted line into Group.

Core focus areas:

  • Leadership of a 20-person finance team
  • Operational finance oversight in a high-volume transactional environment
  • Management accounts, statutory reporting and audit (Dec year-end)
  • FCA regulatory reporting and controls
  • Strengthening financial governance and internal controls
  • Driving process improvements and efficiencies
  • Enhancing quality of SLAs across banking and transaction flows
  • Upskilling and professionalising elements of a legacy finance function

This is not a “sit back” role. It requires a visible, sleeves-rolled-up leader comfortable operating in detail while improving the broader structure.
