Summary: The Interim Finance Director will lead a 20-person finance team within a listed, FCA-regulated financial services platform, focusing on operational finance oversight, management accounts, and regulatory reporting. Key Responsibilities:

Key Skills:

I’m supporting a listed, FCA-regulated financial services platform (c.£600m AUM) in appointing an Interim Finance Director.
The Role
You’ll report to the MD of the business unit with a dotted line into Group.
Core focus areas:
- Leadership of a 20-person finance team
- Operational finance oversight in a high-volume transactional environment
- Management accounts, statutory reporting and audit (Dec year-end)
- FCA regulatory reporting and controls
- Strengthening financial governance and internal controls
- Driving process improvements and efficiencies
- Enhancing quality of SLAs across banking and transaction flows
- Upskilling and professionalising elements of a legacy finance function
This is not a “sit back” role. It requires a visible, sleeves-rolled-up leader comfortable operating in detail while improving the broader structure.
