Summary: The role of Interim Finance Director involves providing leadership and financial stewardship within a charitable organization during a transitional period. The position requires guiding teams through change while maintaining business as usual (BAU) and managing various strategic initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership to five heads of department to maintain BAU during organizational change.
- Manage financial stewardship and performance reporting.
- Support the organization through an imminent COO departure and year-end processes.
- Assist in preparing for government funding bids and senior recruitment outside of finance.
- Make informed accounting decisions and ensure accuracy in bid proposals.
- Communicate effectively and motivate teams while navigating cultural challenges.
