Summary: This role is for an Interim Finance Business Partner within a small commercial finance team at an international manufacturing business in North Leicester. The position involves reviewing monthly management accounts, developing budgets, and providing analytical support to senior leadership teams. The candidate will act as a trusted advisor, identifying opportunities for improvement and fostering relationships across departments. A qualified or QBE accountant with strong analytical skills and experience in commercial partnerships is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review monthly management accounts, including Balance Sheet reconciliations and commentary on key variances.
- Develop and manage budgets, understanding key drivers and challenging stakeholders as needed.
- Build and nurture relationships with Marketing senior leadership teams, providing support with brand performance and analysis.
- Examine cost lines to identify opportunities and understand associated risks.
- Act as a trusted advisor to the finance function, contributing ideas for continuous improvement.
Key Skills:
- Qualified or QBE accountant.
- Experience partnering with Commercial teams (sales and marketing).
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally.
- Proficiency in Business Partnering, analysis, KPI production, Power BI, and Tableau.
