Summary: The Interim Finance Business Partner role is a critical position within the Housing Clients Management Accountancy team, aimed at providing essential financial support during a maternity leave. This 12-month fixed-term contract involves strategic financial oversight, collaboration with the Development Team, and ensuring financial integrity across various areas. The role offers flexible remote working with occasional in-office meetings, emphasizing a proactive and collaborative approach to financial management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead financial forecasting for new build schemes
- Work collaboratively with the Development Team to ensure accuracy and keep the Treasury Team updated on cash flow impacts
- Manage budgets and expenditure for Development, Leaseholders, Service Charges, and contract/void utility payments
- Maintain accurate financial records and oversee utility payments on new build properties
- Produce monthly management accounts and complete all associated reconciliations
- Ensure integrity of the balance sheet, income and expenditure accounts - including component accounting and grant contributions
- Prepare year-end accounts for designated areas
- Collaborate across departments and support audit processes
Key Skills:
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Proven experience in management accounting and cash flow forecasting
- Confidence using financial systems and Excel
- A proactive, collaborative approach and attention to detail
