Interim Finance Assistant

The Role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the organisation's income processing and cash management activities. Responsibilities will include:

  • Processing and reconciling income from multiple sources, including retail and fundraising.
  • Managing cash and banking reconciliations.
  • Supporting accounts receivable and income-related finance processes.
  • Assisting with the development and improvement of financial procedures.
  • Working closely with colleagues to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

About You

We are looking for a professional who can quickly adapt, work independently and build positive working relationships. You will ideally have:

  • Previous experience in a Finance Assistant or similar finance support role.
  • Strong experience with income processing, cash management, banking or accounts receivable.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • The ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • A proactive, dependable and professional approach.

Experience within the charity sector is not essential. Candidates with transferable experience from other sectors are encouraged to apply.
