Summary: Zanda is seeking a hands-on Finance Manager for a maternity cover contract at a high-growth, PE-backed SaaS company in London. The role involves management accounting, accounts payable and receivable, tax compliance, payroll administration, and operational support. The ideal candidate will have experience with NetSuite and a strong understanding of UK GAAP, thriving in a fast-paced environment. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and make a significant impact during a key growth phase.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly management accounts and reporting packs
- Post journals and perform account reconciliations
- Produce KPI dashboards and provide financial insight
- Oversee customer invoicing, credit control, and payment runs
- Manage staff expenses and vendor onboarding
- Prepare and submit VAT, US sales tax, and franchise tax filings
- Support year-end audit preparation
- Ensure compliance with ISO27001, GDPR, and ESG frameworks
- Assist with monthly payroll reviews and changes
- Support employee onboarding/offboarding
- Maintain HRIS and employee records
- Lead preparation of audit schedules, reconciliations, and statutory reporting for multiple entities
- Assist with insurance renewals, travel arrangements, company events, and budget monitoring
Key Skills:
- Proven experience with NetSuite
- Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP
- Prior experience in a tech, SaaS, or marketing-led business
- Comfortable operating in a lean finance team and managing a broad, hands-on remit
- Confident working autonomously, with initiative and a proactive mindset

The business operates with manageable transaction volumes, enabling a Finance Manager who enjoys getting close to the numbers and playing a pivotal operational role. You’ll benefit from a structured handover period beginning in August , working closely with the current Finance Manager to ensure a smooth transition before maternity leave starts in October.
