Detailed Description From Employer:

Technical Delivery Manager (FM) - Local Authority Contract

We're working with a local authority that has recently mobilised two new FM contracts and is looking for a Technical Delivery Manager to help shape how services are delivered moving forward, particularly in preparation for LGR.

This role is focused on reviewing and improving existing FM processes. You'll come in with a clear view of best practice, assess the current "direction of travel," and help refine how services are structured and delivered. There may also be an opportunity to review and potentially outsource elements of the service where appropriate.

You'll be working closely with an in-house team, supporting the mobilisation and ongoing performance of the new contracts. A big part of the role will involve overseeing performance boards, ensuring KPIs are met, and driving accountability across service delivery.

They're looking for someone with strong FM experience who can take a strategic yet hands-on approach, someone comfortable challenging processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring high-quality technical delivery.

One of the key contracts includes OCS, with a focus on DMA maintenance, so experience in similar environments would be beneficial.

Key details:

  • £450 per day (fixed rate)
  • Hybrid working, minimum 3 days onsite
  • Local authority environment, supporting a key transformation phase

This is a great opportunity to step into a role where you can influence how FM services are delivered at a strategic level while still being close to the operational detail.
