Interim Director of Procurement – Healthcare Organisation, South West England – September start – circa 3-6 Months – Band 9

We are currently working with our client, a healthcare organisation based in the South West England, who are looking for a new Interim Director of Procurement. Our Executive Search team is exclusively supporting this organisation in hiring for the substantive role. This role is looking to start ASAP and will be for circa 3-6 months. The Interim Director of Procurement job will ideally be performed on a full-time basis.

Regarding remuneration, this role falls inside IR35 and is band 9, preferably via a Fixed Term Contract. In addition, the successful candidate would be expected to have some weekly on-site presence.

Job Role - Reporting to the Chief Finance Officers, and they are looking for someone who can bring the following

  • Demonstrated success in driving business transformation, fostering innovation, and leading high-stakes commercial negotiations
  • In-depth expertise in procurement governance and strategic category management

The Person - Successful candidates will need to have worked a similar role previously. Experience of integrating a new procurement model that will unify strategic and operational procurement, inventory management, and logistics across a system would be very desirable for this role.
