Summary: We’re looking for an Interim Director of Finance, Operations to lead financial operations across our EMEA manufacturing, supply chain, and logistics network. This role involves driving financial performance, supporting strategic planning, and ensuring operational excellence across multiple sites. The successful candidate will collaborate with various teams to provide financial oversight and insights that promote growth. This position requires a qualified accountant with significant experience in senior finance roles, particularly in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading all operational finance activities across the EMEA region
- Driving delivery of financial targets – revenue, EBITDA, and cash flow
- Overseeing accurate and timely financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Partnering with operations and supply chain to improve systems, controls, and processes
- Managing CMO financial governance including standardised contracts and performance tracking
- Providing financial insight and support to site leaders and functional heads
- Supporting internal and external audits
- Travelling to EMEA manufacturing sites as needed
Key Skills:
- Qualified accountant (CIMA preferred)
- 5+ years in senior finance roles
- Proven experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or broader manufacturing
- Multinational experience with strong business partnering capability
- Track record of managing large capex projects
- Strong analytical, systems, and communication skills
- SAP experience in manufacturing/warehousing (desirable)
