Summary: The Interim Data and Business Intelligence Lead will play a pivotal role in a significant transformation agenda for a business over an initial 6-month term. This position involves designing and implementing a comprehensive data strategy while engaging with key stakeholders. The role requires strong expertise in data and business intelligence, particularly with platforms like Snowflake. The successful candidate will also lead process improvements and ensure data integrity throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing a robust and comprehensive data strategy and road map to align with the business strategy
- Overseeing the implementation of Business Intelligence tools and platforms to ensure appropriate tracking and measurement capabilities
- Managing the data and business intelligence communication plan, ensuring stakeholders are engaged
- Defining and implementing an effective data governance strategy
- Leading on process improvement activity and ensuring data integrity
Key Skills:
- A proven track record operating in a large, complex business within a transformation team
- Strong Data and Business Intelligence expertise, preferably a strong working knowledge of Snowflake or alternative data platforms
- A tactical and strategic approach, coupled with strong communication and influencing skills
