- Shape and maintain the IT Security Strategy aligned with organisational goals and regulations
- Lead cybersecurity governance and contribute to senior-level discussions about cyber risk
- Maintain and align security policies with standards
- Define security roles across departments and support data protection compliance
- Review systems, cloud configurations, networks, IAM, and Microsoft environments
- Oversee vulnerability assessments, threat modelling and approve secure architectures
- Manage the IT Security Assurance Framework and lead audits and security assessments
- Track KPIs, risk registers and produce reports for leadership
- Act as the senior security contact, advising projects and representing the organisation externally
- Drive awareness campaigns and embed cyber hygiene into training and onboarding
- Develop and test disaster recovery and incident response plans

- Stay ahead of threats and champion modern security tools and practices
- Evaluate solutions and contribute to security maturity roadmaps
