Summary: The Interim Commercial Finance Analyst role involves providing high-quality financial insights to support decision-making within a leading multi-site organization. The position requires a qualified accountant with strong analytical skills and experience in a commercial finance function. The role is hands-on and suited for individuals who thrive in dynamic environments, with responsibilities including budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. The contract is for six months with a hybrid working arrangement available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business partnering with commercial teams and wider finance function to provide financial insight and challenge
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and month-end processes
- Analysing sales, margin, and promotional performance
- Preparing commercial dashboards and KPI reporting
- Supporting pricing, profitability, and customer analysis
- Identifying risks, opportunities, and performance trends
- Helping drive process improvements across the commercial finance function
Key Skills:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
- Prior experience within a highly analytical and business partnering role within a commercial finance function
- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to interpret data and provide commercial insight
- Confident communicator able to partner with non-finance stakeholders
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Experience within a fast-paced environment, preferably FMCG, Retail or Wholesale
- Prior experience in an interim or contract role (not essential)
- Exposure within a large, complex, multi-site organisation

Following some restructuring, they require an experienced Interim Commercial Finance Analyst to support the team over the next six months.
The Role: Reporting directly to the Commercial Finance Manager , you will play a key role in delivering high quality financial insight to support decision-making across the senior leadership team. This is a hands-on, analytical role suited to someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
