Interim CFO – PE-Backed B2B Technology-Enabled Services Business

We are supporting a B2B technology-enabled business that has recently completed a primary private equity buyout in the appointment of an experienced Interim CFO.
Working closely with the CEO and investor, the Interim CFO will professionalise the finance function and establish the financial infrastructure required to support the next stage of the company’s growth journey.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Building a scalable, high-quality finance function
- Strengthening management reporting, forecasting and financial controls
- Establishing relevant commercial and operational KPIs
- Improving visibility across recurring revenue, customer retention, margins and profitability
- Developing robust budgeting, cash-flow and working-capital processes
- Upgrading finance systems, data and reporting capabilities
- Supporting strategic planning and the delivery of the value-creation plan
- Developing the existing finance team and assessing future capability requirements
- Establishing effective board and investor reporting
- Preparing the business to support organic growth and future acquisitions
The successful candidate will be an experienced Interim CFO with a strong track record of professionalising finance functions within founder-led or newly private equity-backed businesses.
Experience within B2B technology or technology-enabled services and supporting a business through its first institutional investment would be particularly valuable.
