Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the finance function through a secondary PE transaction, working closely with shareholders, lenders, and advisers
  • Provide senior financial leadership to a complex, acquisitive infrastructure services group
  • Support ongoing M&A activity, including integration, reporting alignment, and value-creation initiatives
  • Enhance group governance, controls, forecasting, and reporting appropriate for large-cap PE ownership
  • Act as a trusted partner to the CEO and Board during a period of change

Key Skills:

  • Strong exposure to secondary buy-outs and institutional PE environments
  • Deep understanding of buy-and-build models and post-acquisition integration
  • Background in infrastructure, industrial, utilities, or engineering-led services preferred

We are supporting a large-scale infrastructure services business operating across critical national infrastructure. The group is private-equity backed and is entering a secondary buy-out with a highly regarded global fund. The business has historically grown through an aggressive buy-and-build strategy, creating a multi-entity, operationally complex platform. Under new ownership, the strategy is to continue acquisitive growth, while further strengthening group-level financial discipline, governance and scalability.

An experienced Interim CFO is required to support the business through this transition period and into the next phase of ownership.
