Overview: Confido Consult is working in exclusive partnership with a well-regarded local authority in the West of England to appoint an Interim Building Control Manager on an initial 6-month contract (likely to extend).
This is a leadership-level opportunity suited to experienced Building Control (Registered Building Inspector) professionals who can provide stability, strategic input, and day-to-day oversight within a small, capable team.
About the Role: You will be stepping into a well-functioning and stable service within a high-performing council. This is not a crisis-management brief – the team is in a good position, with existing processes and relationships in place. Your role will be to support ongoing service improvement, provide leadership and technical assurance, and represent the function at senior level.
