Summary: The Interim Asbestos Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing quality assurance for non-housing stock within a public sector or commercial portfolio in the South East of England. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct quality checks and assurance audits across a range of non-domestic properties.
  • Oversee and review asbestos surveys, removals, and remedial work to ensure full compliance with current legislation.
  • Liaise with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to ensure asbestos management procedures are adhered to.
  • Maintain accurate records and support the update of the asbestos register.
  • Provide professional advice and guidance on asbestos-related matters.

Key Skills:

  • P405 qualification (Management of Asbestos in Buildings) - essential.
  • Proven experience in asbestos management within non-housing or commercial property stock.
  • In-depth knowledge of Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 and relevant HSE guidance.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
